Hey Gorgeous Girls and Guys,
We’re still raving about the new Pureology range which has come to gorgeousshop. All of the products within Pureology have been designed to complement coloured hair, so you can achieve all the benefits of the Volumising, Hydration and Repair ranges whilst resting in the knowledge your colour is being intensively protected for longer lasting more radiant colour.

Emily a student at Bristol University has tried and tested the Pureology Pure Volume range.
“The Pureology Pure Volume Shampoo was quite thick and creamy so I was initially concerned that it might make my hair greasy, but it didn’t at all. I also liked that it smells very natural, not overly chemically like other shampoos I’ve used in the past.
The Pureology Pure Volume Blow-Dry Amplifier leave-in treatment actually works really well!! I’ve used so called volumising serums before and they haven’t really done the job, or they left my hair feeling sticky. I wasn’t expecting any results, or a nice feeling to my hair because of my past experiences, but this serum didn’t leave any residue at all. The treatment definitely helped make my hair bigger, especially if I blow dried it upside down. The volume also lasts for most of the day, not just for 5 minutes after I finished drying it! It also smells natural and not overpowering. I had been using some hair mousse to try and give my hair volume, but now I’ve switched to the Pureology Pure Volume Blow-Dry Amplifier as it works much better!”

Hey Gorgeous Girls and Guys,
EEK! My hair is looking a little dried out at the moment, lots of bleaching combined with sun exposure has left it looking like straw…and I’ve decided it’s time to take action to repair and replenish my hair so that it regains its shine and health. After all I love having my hair long and blonde so going for the chop is certainly not an option.
gorgeousshop has just launched La Biosthetique hair and skincare products and I’ve already had a nose in the warehouse to find a product to match my needs, and I found a couple that I’ve been trying out that are really working to nurse my hair back to health.
First of all I started with the refreshingly scented La Biosthetique Bain Vital (250ml) – Shampoo for Damaged Hair. This product is so highly concentrated that you need the smallest amount to lather and cleanse your hair. Plus for all those girls out there who like to know what they’re putting on their hair (don’t you just hate all those chemically products) you can be rest assured that 99% of the ingredients in the Bain Vital shampoo are from a natural origin and 6% are from organic farming.
I then followed the shampoo with La Biosthetique Masque Vital (100ml) – Conditioning Masque for Damaged Hair. You can use it as a regular conditioner, or alternatively it’s thick texture allows you to leave it in for longer for better results. I left it in for the best part of 20 minutes whilst I soaked in the bath and read a magazine. 99% of the ingredients in La Biosthetique Masque Vital are from a natural origin and 15% are from organic farming.
To finish I used a little La Biosthetique Creme Brilliante (50ml), this product again smells delicious and glides onto your hair just like a creamy serum. 99% of the ingredients are from a natural origin and 34% are from organic farming.
With Free Postage and Packaging across the range give this brilliant collection the opportunity to show off it’s fantastic qualities.

Hey Gorgeous Girls and Guys,
I’ve just got back from a lovely sunny break in Spain and wanted to tell you all about how the new KMS California Solperfection products coped with extreme heat, sun, sea, sand and worst of all lots and lots of Chlorine – all things that will fry anyone’s hair and make it dry, straw-like and…well just nasty!
I’m happy to report that my hair is gorgeously glossy , hydrated and nourished with virtually no crispy-ness – and that’s not due to the product not working but rather my laziness.
The KMS California Solperfection range of products are infused with a fresh grapefruit and thyme scent that refreshes your mind as well as your hair. This subtle scent echo’s the summer and is perfect to get you into that summery feeling. All the products within the KMS California Solperfection range deeply hydrate, protect and cleanse the hair using the anti-oxidant properties of the ingredients as a base.
So of all the products in the range here are my top 3, must have, items for any trip to sunnier climates.
KMS California Solperfection Shampoo (300ml) – The most important step to getting rid of all the gunk build-up in your hair, surprisingly a little goes a long way and you’ll have enough left after a 2 week holiday for another 2 weeks, even if you wash your hair every day.
KMS California Solperfection Survival Cream – Leave in Conditioner (125ml) – I was initially sceptical about a leave-in conditioner, bearing in mind within this range it is the only type of regular conditioner on offer, but I was pleasantly surprised by its intensively moisturising, smoothing and nourishing properties. My hair was left softer without being weighed down. Gorgeous Tip: After towel-drying you hair, allow it to air dry a further 10 minutes before application, this ensures that the conditioner is absorbed better and doesn’t get diluted by water left in the hair. Brush in for smooth, sleek results.
KMS California Solperfection All Day Defense (150ml) – This is perhaps my favourite product in the range, it’s a light mist fortified with grapefruit and thyme to detox, protect and detangle your hair. I packed it in my beach bag and spritzed it on whenever my head felt hot and dried out. The mist is minimally oiled
Coming soon, introducing La Biosthetique and a review of Redken Colour Extend.

Hey Gorgeous girls and guys,
Ok so I was down at the Gorgeous Salon the other day, having my highlights done by the lovely Sharon, and she was giving me a shampoo and conditioning 1-on-1 tutorial! Did you know that all those products for ‘Aged’, ‘Old’ and ‘Mature’ hair aren’t for the aged, old and mature people. In fact they are designed for hair that is old. So just because you may be 100 years old, the hair on your head still grows, and seeing as most 100 year olds have short hair their hair is classed as new. It’s us youngsters with our long hair that actually need to use the products for mature hair.
I suppose it’s obvious when you think about it…I started growing my hair about 5 years ago so my split ends are basically hair that’s been dyed, styled, pulled and coiffed for all that time (no wonder I need an intensively moisturising product).

So leap into action with these fabulous products and rescue your hair. For me, after a few washes with Kerastase Resistance Age Recharge Shampoo and Masque my hair looked so much healthier.
Top 5 Strengthening and Protecting Haircare Products:
1. Kerastase Age Recharge Bain (250ml) £10.96
2. Korres Rice Proteins Serum (15ml) £13.71
3. Joico K-Pak Reconstructing Treatment (150ml) £14.95
4. Redken Extreme Triple Pack (Shampoo, Conditioner & Anti-Snap Treatment) £29.00
5. L’Oreal Professionnel Age Densiforce Shampoo (250ml) £7.86

Tigi Catwalk Oatmeal & Honey Treatment shampoo helps to repair chemically treated or damaged hair with vitamins A, B and E and added moisture. Hair is revitalized and healthy looking. |
