This is our default service that applies to all UK Mainland orders. All orders placed before 12:00 noon are dispatched from our warehouse the same day via Royal Mail or via the Home Delivery Network, subject to stock availability and security checks. The delivery method used is based on the size, weight and value of the order.

Certain UK addresses are subject to different rates and timescales, see our UK Exceptions below.

This 48 hour signed for service allows you to order as many products as you require for one simple price.

Upgrade from our UK Standard Delivery service to get your order faster. All orders placed before 12:00 noon are dispatched from our warehouse the same day via the Home Delivery Network, subject to stock availability and security checks.

A signature is required for this service. Someone must be at your delivery address to sign for your parcel between 8am and 7pm, so please send it somewhere it can be reliably signed for, such as your place of work, or a neighbours’ residence. Goods must be in stock. Should you wish to query our stock levels please call customer services on +44 (0)1442 866009.

All orders containing electrical products including ghd hair straighteners require a signature (proof of delivery) and therefore must be sent to you via this service.

This Next Working Day service allows you to order as many products as you require for one simple price.

All orders placed before 12:00 noon are dispatched from our warehouse on the same day via the Home Delivery Network or Interlink Express, subject to stock availability and security checks.

A signature is required for this service. Someone must be at your delivery address to sign for your parcel between 8am and 7pm, so please send it somewhere it can be reliably signed for, such as your place of work, a neighbors. Goods must be in stock. Should you wish to query our stock levels please call customer services on +44 (0)1442 866009.

Our Premium Delivery Option guarantees next working day delivery for orders placed before 12:00 noon Mon-Fri. On Fridays 'Next Day' means Monday.

BFPO : £3.50 Delivery: 72 Hours to BFPO Hub

This 72 hour service is via The Royal Mail

Deliveries can be sent to the British Forces via the distribution hub in London. Once the package is signed for by the BFPO it is their responsibility to deliver to the specified address.

Free Delivery Options (applicable to UK orders only)

Free Standard Delivery Over £50 excludes electricals

All UK Mainland, Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and Islands, Channel Islands and Scilly Isles orders over £50, that do not include electrical items, qualify for Free Standard Delivery. Simply add products to your basket to the value of £50 or over and the cost of UK Standard Delivery (UK Mainland) or Standard Delivery (Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and Islands, Channel Islands and Scilly Isles) will be deducted when you check out. Please note that service level upgrades will be charged at the full rate.

Brands Marked Free UK P&P

On selected brands we waive the Standard postage fee for all UK orders. Therefore, you can order multiple products from a featured Free UK P&P brand with the knowledge that you will not have to pay postage. If however, you decide to combine products from a brand that does not feature in this promotion then you will be charged our UK Standard Delivery charge of £3.50 for UK Mainland or Standard Delivery charge of £3.95 for Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and Islands, Channel Islands and Scillly Isles. Please note that service level upgrades will be charged at the full rate.

Brands Marked Free UK P&P>£xx

When you find a brand that features this promotion, then it means that if you spend over a certain value (>=over £35 for example) on that particular brand then the postage charge is waived. If however, you decide to add products from a brand that does not feature in this promotion then you will be charged our Standard Delivery charge of £3.75 for UK Mainland or £3.95 for Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and Islands, Channel Islands and Scilly Isles for the whole order.

Some areas of the U.K. are subject to higher prices and longer delivery times because of their (relatively) remote locations. The Premium Service is not next working day but may be faster than the standard service.

European Union Deliveries (EU)

Orders placed from within the European Union are sent by Royal Mail or by our nominated courier. They take between 5 and 14 working days to be delivered depending on your location. The delivery method used is based on the size, weight and value of the order. If your order is sent by Royal Mail then the delivery charge is £9.95 except the Republic Of Ireland which is £7.95. Orders over 500g will be charged at EURO Parcel Rates.

Please Note: Selected brands may not be available to ship outside the UK. All electrical products come with a UK power adaptors only. Local converts will be required and you must check that the voltage will work in your area. We can not be held responsible for any compatibility issues.

European Deliveries (Non EU) and Rest Of The World

We do deliver to other European countries (Non EU), including Balearics and Canary Islands, Cyprus, Malta and Norway. In addition, we can deliver to countries outside of Europe see examples below. Your exact cost of delivery will be clearly displayed at the checkout screen. Delivery times and prices will vary dependant on your location. We will select the best method available and deliveries can take between 5 and 28 days. We cannot be held responsible for any Customs Duty that may be applicable in your area, however we will provide any relevant consignment documentation required by local customs officials to identify the parcels contents.

Please note: Selected brands may not be available outside the UK. All electrical products come with a UK plug only, and are manufactured to work on UK voltage of 240 volts AC. Local converters will be required and you must check that the voltage will work in your area. We cannot be held responsible for any compatibility issues.

Delivery Terms & Conditions

Delivery Times

Shipping times are quoted on the basis that the product is in stock.

Orders are processed between Monday and Friday 09:00 - 12.00 GMT, excluding Bank and Public Holidays. Orders placed after 12:00 GMT, Orders placed during a weekend or Bank Holiday after 12:00 GMT will be processed on the next working day.

Currency

All prices on our site are quoted in UK Pounds Sterling (£).

Delays - Part Shipment

- Inventory

Very occasionally certain items will go temporarily out of stock or may be discontinued at short notice by our suppliers. We will notify you via email if this is the case and will offer you the opportunity to keep your items on back order, arrange alternative products or offer a full refund. In the event that we cannot send all your items in one shipment we will part ship your order so that you receive the majority of your selected items as quickly as possible. The remainder of your order will be dispatched within 24 hours of receipt of the good from our suppliers.

- Busy Periods

During busier times (for example Valentine's Day, Father's Day, and especially at Christmas) there may be a slight delay (no more than 24 hours) in processing your order. Therefore, some orders can take up to 5 days to arrive during these periods.

All UK orders are sent via Royal Mail, Interlink Express or Home Delivery Network and our standard delivery times quoted. We cannot be held responsible for items delayed in the postal system, or any industrial action taken by our nominated couriers as this beyond our control.

- Lost In Transit

We must allow up to 14 days (UK Deliveries) and 28 days (European and Rest Of The World) before a parcel is deemed lost in transit. Most UK orders are tracked so we can locate your parcel and give you a more accurate arrival time, simply call our customer service team on 01442 866009.

Proof Of Delivery

UK Standard Plus Delivery (UK Mainland), UK Premium Delivery (UK Mainland), Premium Delivery (UK Exceptions) and some Euro Parcel orders will require a signature to release the parcel. Someone must be at your nominated delivery address to sign for your parcel between 8am and 7pm, so please provide a Delivery Address where the parcel can be reliably signed for, such as your place of work or a neighbours’ residence.

UK Destination Definitions

UK destinations do include: BFPO, Northern Ireland and Channel Islands and Scilly Islands but these areas are subject to different rates and timescale's compared to those deemed UK Mainland. UK Mainland is defined as areas not included in our UK Exceptions.

Deliveries to for UK Exceptions (Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and Islands, Channel Islands and Scilly Isles) can take up to 10 days. The delivery method used is based on the size, weight and value of the order.

Pre-Orders

Orders that contain pre-order products (i.e. not currently in stock) will be shipped as soon as all products are in stock.

Billing Information

To help us process your order we require that your complete your full billing address details during the registration/checkout process matching the exact address and postcode details held by your bank. If these details are not correct we will put the order on hold until our verification is completed. (this applies even if the transaction is completed and an order number is sent out to you).

Change of Delivery Address
We will ship to another specified Delivery Address only when we have confirmed that the card holders billing address details are correct and verified. If you wish to change your delivery address after an order has been placed this may incur an additional cost.

International Deliveries

All international deliveries are usually shipped via airmail* to the nominated country and then passed on to the local postal service. Please refer to the Delivery Times Estimator for your region. Parcels may have to pass through local customs which can delay your delivery. Countries outside the EU are subject to additional customs charges which vary considerably and are not included in the cost. These charges must be paid for by the recipient before the package is cleared. Gorgeous Shop Limited cannot refund any customs or import duty paid by the recipient.

*If your order contains electrical and or aerosols, then this will be shipped by surface mail.

Order and delivery Confirmation E-mails

When your order is received, we'll send you an e-mail confirming your order. Then, when your order is delivered, we'll send you a delivery confirmation. It will include the following information:

  • Items purchased
  • Payment information
  • Delivery method
  • Delivery information
What if my order has not arrived?

If you have received confirmation of shipping but your goods have not arrived, please ensure that you have allowed sufficient time according to the estimated delivery times shown for your area.

Please be advised that the delivery times shown for each area are based on an estimated date of delivery, on rare occasions delivery can take longer than specified*. If your parcel contains aerosol or electric items please be advised that shipping is via surface mail and can take up to 28 working days.

If after this time your goods have still not arrived, in the first instance please check with your local mail delivery office to see that they are not holding your parcel. If they confirm that they do not have your goods, please contact us and we will do our best to assist you after the period set below. Please note that these times have been set to us by our postal service and are based on the guidelines regarding the processing and delivery of parcels; we are unable to re-ship, cancel or refund your order until after these time constraints have passed.

For UK Deliveries: Please allow 14 working days to pass from date of dispatch.

For Europe (including Rep of Ireland) and rest of World: Please allow 28 working days from date of dispatch.

Once the allocated period has passed our Customer Services team will be able to help you further.

*Gorgeous Shop Limited cannot be held accountable for any delays of parcels in transit, as this is beyond the control of the company.

On occasion parcels are returned to us after the customer has failed to pick them up from the depot, please read further details below.

Re-Shipping of Orders

If your parcel has not been delivered it may be sitting at your local depot. If you fail to retrieve the parcel and it is returned to us there will be one of three courses of action. In the first instance we will attempt to contact you, via the contact information provided to Gorgeous Shop Limited, when your order is returned for your choice of the following options:

  1. We can issue a refund minus the initial postage costs.
  2. We can re-dispatch the parcel to you, however please note this will incur a further fee of £3.50 to cover admin and postage costs.
  3. If we do not receive a response after 7 days of attempting to contact you we will automatically process "Option 1".

*Please note even if your order qualified for free shipping you will be charged for the equivalent postage costs as return of the item voids the promotional postage offer. Should you have any queries as to this cost please refer to the ‘Delivery Prices’ section.
